Air France, starting Monday is going to start flying to Belgarde once again. Air France was I think the only airline that didn't resume service after the NATO bombing. They will have three flights weekly and the equipment used will be the Airbus A320. Until now, JAT was the only option between Belgarde and Paris. They have daily flights between the two capitals and are planning on keeping it that way despite the competition from Air France.

I was made aware that Air France will depart from Orly airport (at Paris) instead of Charles de Gaulle. As a result, it does not come under direct competition with JAT Yugoslav Airlines. However, it is my opinion that Air France is targetting the domestic travellers (within France) that are bound for Belgrade. This can be supported by the fact that Orly is a more regionally based airport - while Charles de Gaulle is commonly recognized on the spectrum of international flights.
