in August this year I was flying DUB-LHR with bmi. The flight was delayed by 45 min, but otherwise alright. When arriving at Heathrow, it was anounced that all the luggage had not made it to the aircraft on time and would therefore be sent with the next one. I wonder how this can be, as the flight was already delayed?
Thanks in advance

I work with BD baggage in DUB, I cant remember this exact incident but it could have been somthing like the bingo card was lost so they didnt know what was in the bin so rather than sort through it and delay the flight even more they just decided to leave, we dont use baggage scanning in DUB.
As we have read over the past few days BD delayed more luggage this summer than any other airline, it just seems with BD that luggage is not a priority like some other airlines.
