Hello. I was just thinking about a trip I took a few months back when I went to Chicago and Cleveland (you can see the trip report if you'd like in the appropriate section). I remember a plane I saw when we were at Denver on our stopover on United. I saw a 727 with Alegre in green letters on the body of the plane. I think it was Air Alegre, or Alegre Air but I'm not sure. It had Mexican registration.

Is it just a charter airline or does it have scheduled services? What destinations does it fly to? Acapulco? Cancun? Puerto Vallarta etc. Do they only fly 727s? I tried searching the web for a website but all that came up was things about Porto Alegre, Brazil. Please tell me what you all know about them.
Thanks for your efforts.

I made a HUGE mistake. I thought you meant Air Algerie. Here is my new info!

Allegro Air. It is a mexican based charter airline and was formed in 1992. They have a small fleet of DC-9's and MD-83's as well as some 727's. Theyare based at Cancun Mexico.

Hope this helps

Do you know what destinations they serve on our side of the Atlantic? Do they have flights from other parts of México besides Cancún?
Gracias.

Yes, they do have flights from other destinations. This is a mexican charter airline that flies to most popular destinations in the US as well as those cities not served by other airlines. Hope this helps.
