Not a jet, but still an ugly airliner at that.

Excuse me A330 and TWA but neither Tupolevs nor the A320 classify as ugly aircraft in my book, infact they are rather attractive. I do find the B777 & B767 lacking in grace though, but ugliest has to be the super guppy thing.

Sorry, that's the only good example of a Breguet 763 Provence I could find in Airliners.net. The one in this picture has been converted into a restaurant!

Talk about a fat-assed bird!

I think the ugliest airline is delta and US Air because they both have plain colors but the ugliest aircraft is the Boeing 757 its just so ugly

a319 hands down...nothing like a stubby little plane=P ... now im going to have to defend the 757, 767, and 777...they are all gorgeous aircraft...especially the 777 with the wings bent up...it really looks like a bird...

The 777 looks like a 757 on steroids. The A340-600 is way too long and the wings and engines look way too small. The 777-300 is way too long for me and I'm not to thrilled about the 747 stretch of the forward section. I think if Boeing was going to go with this they should've stretch the upperdeck to the tail. All others look just fine to me. I like the 767 but the 777-300 is just too long. I do like the 777-200 better though.

Any 737-Classic is ugly--Especially Delta's old-livery ones. And that ugly Antonov that's on here--the one that was on some airfield for 3 years.

The American Airlines Fokker 100 has my vote! It's Ugly, even inside the airplane that I was in needed a cabin remad 2 years ago! It was lould, ugly, smelly, and slow! The 717 will be nice when American takes TWA's on-order 717's!

Regards,
Mr. 717

I think the 767 is ugly in any livery and any version. It's just a really confused looking aircraft. I don't think the MD-11 is that great either. It's a little bloated for my taste. On the other hand, I think the 747, A330, A340, and 777 are very good looking, along with the 737-800 and the A32X family.

I can't think of an ugly airliner. Sure time can make some designs look dated, but in their time most of them were cutting edge technology. Some were ahead of their time, i.e. the Carvair and Breguet 763, so not exactly financial sucesses.

28 VirginA340 : I think the 747SP is way too short and the 757-300 is way too long along with the 737-800/900. Boeing should have cut it off after the 700.
