Probably a scheduled delay because of crew rest requirements. This happened to me once about a year ago, going from PHL to ORD on UA, and the flight showed up as delayed (thankfully, only by about 20 minutes) starting the night before.
Looks like a medical emergency. Medical kit, AED & O2 were open/used. Plane has a history of right start valve issues and it did that again when trying to depart MSY-TPA so AA674 was given a new plane.
Quoting 71Zulu (Thread starter): This morning's 6:20am to DFW (flt 805) was 1 hr 40 min late, related? Plane swap?
This was the plane from AA674 the previous night. MSY maint. thought they fixed the start valve issue, but it reappeared again this morning. Eventually got it fixed --enough to get it to DFW where it went to the hanger for the rest of the day... for maintenance?
