Came across this article about what that plans are for Wisconsin area sports teams aircraft charters:

http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/36169999.html

Summary:
Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) - Air Canada JETZ
Green Bay Packers (NFL) - Northwest
Milwaukee Brewers (MLB) - TBD

FWIW, noticed the JETZ bird at Signature North on Sunday afternoon.

Hmmm... interesting...

Might want to pass this along to the Bucks, the NBA, and Northwest...

EDIT: After looking at flightaware.com I cannot find ANYTHING from MKE to a MIA airport except a AirTran flight to FLL and also a Hawker 800 to FLL.

Any ideas as to why the Bucks would be using AC? Prior to this, I've only seen AC doing NHL charters for Canadian-based teams.

Also interesting is that the owner...US Senator Herb Kohl...would hire a Canadian company to take his players around. Thought he would want to go with DL/NW. Interesting.

Anyone know who Marquette uses for men's basketball? I know they used to go with Midwest, although I don't know if they charter or fly commercial. I know the women's team goes commercial (at least they used to).

Will you watch the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions on Sunday? Only if coach Eric Mangini resigned after a loss.

This might be them. They have a game in Nashville tomorrow night.
We'll see if the DC9 comes back to MKE after the game.

I would bet they will still be a major sponsor, just not the airline they use for charters. Can't anyone with enough money become the "official airline of whatever???"

Yes. That's all it means. WN is the official airline of the NFL. How many teams fly it?

YX will continue to be a large sponsor for the Brewers. The badger Basketbal team flys on E-145's.
Not sure what the Bader hockey team uses.

Dont care what Marquette flys they are the other team in this state. When they go back to Warriors I'll root for them.

Air Canada started flying for the Buck on their last road trip. I did post a thread on that as well.

It will be nice to see a AC A320 in MKE from time to time.

My guess is that the Brewers will be teamed with DL or UA.

I saw an ALL WHITE DC9 (except for the under-eye shadow) today except for a flag on the tail that took off at 3:24p lcl. Wondered all day what it was, and now I know without having to post another thread. I'm guessing this was 191US, the plane used in "We Are Marshall" considering the scheme.

Say, didn't they kick your little red a**** all over the court a few weeks ago? Sounds like maybe a Badgers fan is just a little jealous of the MU. Trust me, that game wasn't as close as the Badgers made it appear in the end.

Yeah you have won the last two. I'll give credit. I actually root for Marquette every other game. I wish they would have gone back to Warriors so i am protesting. LOL

Badgers are young this year. Next couple of years they will be better.

Haha.... I'm a Badgers fan for everything but Basketball... I do like Bo Ryan and he can be quite humorous, but I've love MU since the days when Jim McIlvaine was here (I was about 6).

Yeah, he's a great coach. I was really pissed when Crean said he was going to IU, but IU couldn't have picked a better guy to get that program on track, and now he gets to face his biggest 2 nemises in Izzo (Crean came from under Izzo at MSU) and Ryan at UW. Watch IU in about 2 years once their back on track.

25 Legacytravel : Yes Crean will get them in shape. This year he will get pounded a lot. Mark
26 Smcmac32msn : Remember.... Marquette was kind of a beating stone when he got there too.... He got them in shape pretty quick and is a strong recruiter. I honestly
