A De Havilland Moth carrying one passenger had to make an emergency landing soon after takeoff when its engine failed. Upon making an emergency landing in a nearby field, the plane's port wing grazed an errant cow. Fortunately, the aircraft sustained only minor damaged and the bovine emerged unscathed (as did the pilot and his passenger). See the video on Yahoo!

And pretty much any kind of cow related pun you could think of ...
What's interesting is, watch carefully - yeah they hit the cow (having no idea at first what they DID hit ... you can see their heads snap around in sheer disbelief) ... but did you see how close they came to that telephone pole??? Yikes!
