Newquay Airport has officially reopened after 3 weeks of non-operating, and has been granted its CAA Civil Licences after the transfer from being a military airfield.

To celebrate (and to kick back at Flybe's recent announcements for a certain new route at the airport!), Air Southwest have announced a £29.00 seat fare sale for January on every route from the airport apart from Grenoble.

So welcome EGHQ (previously EGDG) as the UK's newest civilian airfield!
