CNN is reporting that one of the Continental Express planes skidded during taxi and hit a snowbank. Luckily there were no serious injuries:

Yeah, definetly a bad day here weather wise yesterday. Terrible driving conditions on my first day back here, wish I was back in KS...

Anyway, it skidded into a snowbank which was pushed there by the plows who were getting the snow off the taxiway and runway. The plane eventually took off.

Interestingly enough, the airport CEO sent in 50 pizzas for the plane because of the mess.

Must have been small personal pizzas! Nevertheless, it was a nice gesture on their behalf.

No you don't. Its like a whopping 5 degree's today.

Regardless, its a shame we've had all these incidents recently with aircraft while on the ground. Thankfully, there haven't been any fatalities, and lets hope it continues that way.

Note this was also the second incident for Continental during this storm! Glad there have not been any serious injuries in either incidents.

I'm pretty sure it was delayed for more than an hour, but wasn't horrible.

Yeah, I got into ALB on Thursday afternoon and was fine. My dad came in from STL Friday night and was delayed 3 hours. Definetely sucked.
