OAG: AP Drops MXP-ORD And MXP-BOS

Air One was selling MXP-ORD and MXP-BOS resuming in April 2009. Those flights were removed from OAG this week. This is probably part of the AZ/CAI merger. The flights were not added under the AZ code, although that could happen in the coming days/weeks.

OAG changes are usually not reflected until the following Monday in GDS.

Well summer is when AP/AZ could make a go at it as this is when the bulk of travel is. AP was dedicated on running the route off season, so who knows!

Does that mean AZ will no longer fly their own metal into BOS or ORD anymore?

That may be, but that wasn't loaded for sale either. As of now anybody booked is in limbo.

At the moment, there are only rumours reporting that BOS and ORD will be served by AP, nothing of sure.

It's only a rumour for the moment, everything could change.

The two A330s have a new business class.

AP already flew both routes this year. Do you mean AZ?

I saw an AP A330 @ ORD IIRC on Nov. 1st..I was a bit surprised to see it there as I've never seen it there before...but it was indeed a pleasant surprise.. Smile

So that service will REPLACE Alitalia 763/777 services? Just want to be sure.

Both ORD and BOS are 767-300 routes. Alitalia has begun retiring half of the 763 fleet, with EI-CRO already being returned to the lessor.
