Could you supply some more infos? I am rather interested in this, but have no infos at all about the bidders and the nature of the privatisation. (I was too big a cheapskate to subscribe to any monthly magazines...)

Thanks a lot in advance

Regards

Ikarus

The Group is made up of 7 British airlines,

British Airways
Virgin Atlantic
Easyjet
Airtours International
Britannia
bmi
Monarch

They will buy a 49% stake in NATS and are promising £1 Billion of new investment. They are paying about £ 800million for the share.

5% has been sold to NATS employees and the rest will remain under the control of the Government.

They beat another bid by SERCO.
