Today, 12/ 29, I was driving by SFO and saw EK 226 taxi out for Departure. The aircraft loked a littler longer than the 77L they normally use on this route. Was there a subsitution today and does the 773 have the range to do the flight NS?

Thanks.

Was there five doors or four? How can you tell if it was a B77L or B77W?

the 77W is 33 ft. longer?  Smile

anyway, i have it that today's EK flight 225 was A6-EWA, which is a 77L.

Flightaware says it was a 773.

I think Flightaware is incorrect. It was a B77L today.

Thanks all. I was also skeptical when I checked flightaware but when you are doing sixty five down the freeway and spotting out as far as the 28 departures, things look a little different.
