How does Delta plan to intergrate all the flight numbers? Will the designators still be seperate for the now merged carriers?

Example.
DL #1/2 JFK-LHR-JFK
NW #1/2 LAX-NRT-LAX

Anyone know when the first DL A330 will go to paint?

Happy New Year ya'll.

At some point, all of the flights will be operated with the DL code. For the "premier" flights like flights 1/2, I'd bet that one of them (probably LHR) will retain flight 1/2, and the other will get something like 101/102.

Quoting FXramper (Thread starter):

They will likely just fill in the gaps. aka, if the first DL flight open is 27/28 then that will likely be the first NW flight number.

DL has to pick which res. system they want first they keep jumping from PARS to DeltaMatic. I have know idea what it is this week.

yep.

I'm betting you'll see a lot of thru flights. 2 large airlines and only 9999 flight numbers with many reserved for codeshares and regionals = JFK->ATL->MCO->CVG->SLC->LAX on one number!
