Last night an AA Eagle ERJ coming into SYR from ORD slid off the runway due to icy conditions. No one was hurt and the plane was later towed to the terminal after the passenger had disembarked.

Well thankfully no one was injured. I wonder if the crew had an accurate and current braking action report.

Maybe it was trying to make that highly discussed MQ return to ALB?  Silly

I flew out of SYR at noon today, and the ERJ was still sitting halfway off the end of the runway. Tried to grab a pic but we were off before my phone turned on all the way. MQ brought in a CR7 on the early ORD-SYR run; I saw it land. I'm assuming it's for extra capacity. AA's website won't show it, but Flightaware does, and it also shows a CR7 opping it tomorrow.
