But I would like to know how the KLM flight to AMS is doing from DFW, based on somebody who may have information on PAX/Load Factors, RASMs, CASMs, etc. The route was launched last March thanks to the Open Skies agreement, but I know that the flight was reduced from daily to 5X weekly due to the economy plus the slower winter season.
My suspicions (no longer live in DFW area) are that that the flight is probably not doing too well. However, I think that some times it takes a little while and perhaps maybe a little more aggressive marketing to warm up the market. Any thoughts?

Quoting IrishAyes (Thread starter): The route was launched last March thanks to the Open Skies agreement,
The Netherlands was among the first to establish open skies with the US many, many years ago, so that doesn't have anything to do with the new KL flight.
Other recent discussions on here buried within other threads suggest KL is holding it's own on the route, doing pretty well, and actually collects a surprising amount of connecting traffic at DFW to boot, despite not having any relationship with AA.

I don't know how much it contributes but I believe that there are still quite a few Delta Skymilers up there in North Texas which help out those Korean and KLM flights.

I would wager that it collects a very significant amount of connecting traffic in AMS for this flight. Don't forget that AMS is one of the worlds leading hubs.
