Take Off / Landing Fees!

Wow, just read an article, the take off and landing fees for KIX (Osaka, Japan) for a Boeing 747-400 is USD$9,500!!! While HKG costs USD$4,900, and the new Incheon SEL is approx USD$3,000!!! This is terrible, also with fuel price, no wonder lotta airlines r losing money!

Landings fees are nothing really, compared to other things!

However, I did a calculation about 6 months ago and worked out that Changi Airport brings in about 1 million dollars a day in landings fees, not including ramp fees and everything else that an airport makes money on!
