What are some of the longest commercial routes that the 767 flies nonstop? Which airlines and which 767 derivatives fly these long hauls.

I have no idea if it is the longest 767-route, but in 1999 I flew Oslo-Fort Lauderdale non-stop. The flight was operated by a Britannia B767-300.

The flight time was about 10.5 hours...

Air Canada's Toronto-Tel Aviv 767-300 service would certainly be in the top 10.

AC 886 YYZ-TLV 12:25
AC 887 TLV-YYZ 13:45

Next flights: YQM-YYZ-YOW v.v. / YQM-CUN v.v. / YQM-YUL-YWG v.v. / YSJ-YYZ-SEA-SFO / SFO-YYZ-YOW-YQM / YQM-YYZ-MUC-TXL /

Ironically, I was just looking at the latest OAG Pocket Flight guide and thought to myself, that San Francisco to Milan flight is very long for a 767. And as far as I can see, 777-500ER is correct. This flight is 5,946mi.

Other very long 767 flights are:

YYZ-TLV 5,765mi
NRT-CPH 5,399
GRU-MXP 5,911
GIG-CDG 5,711

Well, couldn't find anything longer than those AZ flights from MXP to SFO, but GRU to MXP is also operated by AZ.

like to add GRU MUC 6077 mi
however, no longer operated on 763 aircraft. RG changed to M11s and LH started serving this route with a-340s.

I think AZ SFO-Milan wins top prize for current longest non-stop.

Thanks for your responses! How about the longest 767-200er routes? I think the ones that were listed were mostly 767-300er's. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The longest route is actually LAX-GRU at 6158mi by Varig, LAX-SVO is about 6101 and SFO-MXP is 5292mi. I haven't check any more but I'm certain that the LAX-GRU by Varig is the longest 767-300ER route. The777Man

UA will soon have a 763 serving SFO-LHR during the summer, and AA is adding a 763 SJC-CDG NEXT WEEK. These aren't the longest, but still pretty long for the 76er.

Just reading everyone's post tells me that what a spectacular and flexible aircraft this is to be able to fly routes that long and still perform at top notch on short hauls. VIVA BOEING for such a creation!!!

What about El Al's ORD-TLV nonstop service operated with a 767? Probably equal in length, if not longer than, YVR-Beijing

according to http://www.chicago.com/airliners/gc.html
ORD-TLV is longer than LAX-GRU, and much longer than YVR-PEK

SFO MXP 5952 mi
LAX MUC 5987 mi
YVR PEK 5301 mi
TLV ORD 6167 mi
LAX GRU 6158 mi

these are the great circle distances, and this doesn´t mean that this is necessarily the actual route flown. this is just the shortest way...

Thanks to Johnnybegoode for clearing this up!!! One thing to remember is that TLV-ORD is by a 767-200ER and GRU-LAX is a by 767-300ER, which makes the RG flight even more impressive. The777Man

Asiana used to operate 767s between SEA and SEL, but has switched to the 747-400, and soon to the 777-200! I don't know the distance, but it seems to me to be right up there with the flights being discussed, and hasn't been mentioned yet.

SVO-LAX still exists. Either that or SVO-JFK is one of the longer ones up there.
