Also, AA 613 JFK-MIA changeover from 757 to 763 effective 04/07/09. Making AA 513 MIA-JFK a 763 also effective 04/07/09. Trunk routes like JFK-MIA-JFK need the extra capacity, and more upgrades like these will be common.

Currently tail number 5ET reconfigured 75L is still in TUL. It did a 3 hour test run yesterday the 18th. Hopefully she will be ready soon for revenue service, and some new pics of her interior!

Thanks for all of the info. Do we have any idea yet of where the 75L will be deployed?

972 returns to an A300 until 8/24/09, not 9/24/09. Probably just a typo.

You are right, thanks for the correction. Now, it seems like 5ET has yet to leave TUL. Apparently Heavy check?

The prototype for the international 757 5ET has been finished and being prepared for entry into service at TUL.

I got that much....but wasn't the plan to do the entire 757 fleet? I was wondering what the schedule was?

Yes that is the plan. Starting this year the entire fleet will begin conversion. Eighteen will have the international cabin while the rest will have the new domsetic interior. It's going to take around three to four years. Right now AA M&E has it's hands full with all the other projects. Including the avionics upgrade program for the 757/767 fleet.
