Just a heads up for those in the US who get CNBC, "Inside American Airlines: A week in the life" will be shown at 2000 on 1/25/2009 on CNBC. The program lasts two hours. Here is the description from www.tvguide.com:
"Peter Greenberg chronicles a week in the operation of American Airlines. Included: its obsessive efforts to save fuel; how ticket prices are determined; a busy night at its operation center in Dallas. Also: comments from Chairman and CEO Gerald J. Arprey and former chairman Robert Crandall"

I saw this about 6 months ago and actually I think it's from 2006. There's one part where this female pax complains on camera a because the flight had to return to DFW, and you can hear another female pax yell "Aw shut up, lady!" I believe they both are not allowed to fly again.

Yes this program is a from a few years ago. Still very informative though. However, it has been shown on TV plenty of times since then, as well as posted on here several times. Not much of an "alert", except for those who have never seen it.

The show is not quite that current. It does show then Pres Elect Obama flying on a VC-32 from ORD to DC for his first security briefing just after the election. Pres Obama is yet to fly on Air Force One.
