Hey guys!

Philippine Airlines recently redesigned their cabins on transpacific flights by converting them to bi-class cabins, installing AVOD's, and getting rid of first class.

A friend sent me these cabin photos of their Y-class..and because I have not seen photos of them online, I thought I'll share it with you guys.

When PR eventually receives their 77Ws, will they fly them on transpacfic routes to LAX/SFO/YVR ?

Well, they don't fly to Europe anymore and they fly A330s to Australia, so I would think that US/Canadian routes would be the main focus for these aircraft.

Has PAL announced any config for these aircraft? Also, what is their planned delivery date?

Philippine Airlines fleet is being/has been reconfigured to bi-class cabins. Their 777's are due for delivery on September, will have bi-class cabins, AVOD's, and will wear the same recognizable livery.

It depends if Philippine CAA gets Category 1 safety rating back by the time the 77Ws are delivered. Otherwise, PR is considering returning to Europe or Middle East.

If it gets CAT 1 back, they are also thinking of trying a morning flight to the US/Canada.
