Furbies are banned on Ansett, QANTAS and ANZ flights, unless the owners take the batteries out before the flight. Reportdily, furby can cause electronic intrruiptions to cockpit instruments.

The FBI have also banned in all of their premises because furbies can record conversation.

A furbie is an annoying little furry toy that recoards things that it 'hears'. The best thing to do with them is to throw them from an Ansett, Qantas or AirNZ flight, or from the top of an FBI building .
