A6-EDC is still at LHR after going tech yesterday (2nd Feb). This is the 2nd EK A380 to suffer a lengthy tech problem at LHR in a week, after A6-EDD had the engine problem a few days ago, necessitating a 3 engine ferry flight back to DXB.
Anyone got any info as to what is wrong with DC ?. I saw it several times today, with Emirates engineering vehicles parked outside it. Was going to go over for a nosey onboard, but didn't get around to it in the end.
Just wondered if this is engine related too, if it is specific to the GP7200's as I don't recall SQ having any major delays with their RR powered a/c.

Somewhat related and out of curiosity, who is the MX provider for EK at LHR? SQ uses BA Engineering.

Hair clog in the shower?
I know SQ had Airbus kid glove engineering assistance, at least at the beginning of their service - does anyone know if EK got the same and, if so, are they no longer doing the "special care"?
