Hello everyone,
I had a quick question concerning flight Delta 72 on February 5th from SFO to JFK. When I booked the flight a week back the Delta homepage showed that the service is supposed to be on a Business Elite 757-200. In the past days this flight has been operated by a 737-800 instead of the on the bookings homepage shown 757-200.
I checked flightaware which shows that the flight is going to be a 737-800 as well, but the Delta Flight Status homepage shows a 757-200. Can anybody tell me which aircraft type this flight will actually be operated with?
I thank you so much for your help!!!!

It shows as 75E on the 5th. So I guess that settles the bit about the type, but I'm not up on my DL equipment codes, so I don't know what the E means.

Thanks so much for the info! I am a nervous flyer for some reason and especially for these longer domestic flights I am trying to book myself on 757's and 767's. Not sure why but I just have an easier time on those. Thats why I ask the question; if the aircraft type should have been changed I will check to book myself on a later flight.
Really appreciate your help!

75E is the Biz Elite 757s with 16 in front and 158 in the back. Ex TWA planes with AVOD in every seat and winglets. I loved it cause they gave all of economy free movies and games on the flight from JFK to SLC!!
75X has 16 in first and 158 in coach. All have AVOD and only a few have winglets.
75V has 22 in first and 156 in coach. Only 4 of these. AVOD coming soon. No winglets. Ex ATA planes.
And the most common just 757. Which has 24 in first and 159 in coach. Some have Wifi. No AVOD yet.

I flew the 75E to and from SFO in January from JFK (Delta 73 on the outbound). These are really nice planes. Delta does alternate the route though with 738's midweek and 757's on the Friday and Sundays, though I think at least one of the three daily flights is always a 757. It does depend somewhat on when the 75E's fly to Europe. They are used to SNN, FRA, LYS, Malaga, Nice, and I think a few other cities (BRU, AMS?)
If you end up on a 737-800, the transcon ones are really nice too!
