Bristol Not Doing Well With Snow Tonight

Well the snow has started falling here in bath and listening in on the scanner the aircraft (mainly squeezy jets and ryanair) are holding for up to 30 mins (never see this here). One of the ryanair guys was non too pleased with the situation and contemplated going straight to east midlands.

Comparatively, PLH is doing rather well, even with quite a bit of snow, although the flight from BRS was running about an hour late. Will be interesting to see what BRS is like in the morning, snowing quite heavily where I am in North Devon, and we weren't forecast it for tonight!

Too right. I've been following the weather all week on the BBC news website, and half the time it's wrong.

2 late night Ezy's ended up in CWL. And 2 FR's ended up in EMA.
EZY's currently still in CWL due BRS being closed all day.

There were 4 EZY's parked up at CWL on Monday too.

Looks like its been a bad day of heavy snow at BRS as the website stating closed until 1600.

No. CO has been operating to BRS, except for today, where CO76 operated to MAN and CO77 BRS-EWR was cancelled.

Tell me about it, according to the forcaster tonight the weather system did a u-turn and turned straight back around, giving the South West a double healping of the white stuff. Central Devon got a whopping 55cm in one night! Wow!
