DARWIN, Australia — A pilot guided a small plane and his five passengers to a safe landing in shallow waters in northern Australia on Friday — and walked away with his baggage.


Although not as dramatic as the Hudson landing, glad all was well and nobody hurt. They even got to bring their bags with them.

Those waters are infested with crocodiles.

Very glad the PA31 had the optional cockpit door, otherwise getting out the rear door might not have been so easy

Where's the passion gone out of the airline industry? The smell of jetfuel and the romance of taking a flight....
