Yes 767's do (or at least did!) operate into LGA. Take a look at photo ID#136122, this is a TWA 767 picture that I took back in 1983. UA flew 762's also. DL operated L1011's into LGA & American DC10-10's, also Eastern flew in A300's.
I am sure if you type "La Guardia" in the main search menu you will see many more.

I was on the CVG-LGA 767-332 flight last July. It was a weekend, so the flight was empty (maybe 100 pax).
In looking at the schedule, I think that DL goes about 50/50 to CVG and ATL. Usually, when a plane comes in from CVG, it goes out to ATL (as the one I was on did), and if it comes from ATL, it goes out to CVG.

Yes the 767 has been using LGA since 1981 when the type first came into service.
DL also flies it PBI (West Palm Beach, Florida) to LGA twice daily.
In fact, the aircraft rotation on this particular daily service originates in Cincinatti as DL539 dep.8:55am into PBI at 11:16am
then it becomes DL702 dep.PBI at 12:20pm arr. LGA at 3:07pm.
Then it becomes DL181 dep.LGA at 4:20pm arr.PBI at 7:16pm
Then it becomes DL530 dep.PBI at 8:10pm arr.LGA at 10:56pm.
It then spends the night in LGA, but I don't know for sure what it does the next morning. Probably ATL or CVG. And as I mentioned, this happens every day!
Happy flying! OA

We definately operate 767's and 763's out of LGA... up until a few years ago, we were also big with the L1011's out of LGA as well. This quarter we operate 767's/763's to and from the following cities:
Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL
West Palm beach, FL

Just last night I was on a DL 763 flight to FLL from LGA. It was the 8:55pm flight, and there was nobody on it. I would say out of the 224 possible economy seats, 25 were taken. The group I was traveling with, 15 people, accounted for the majority of the pax on the flight. It was Heaven in a long metal tube.

The 767, DC-10, and L-1011 all can operate at LGA because they were designed to do so. The airlines interested in those planes wanted to be able to operate them in and out of LaGuardia, so the respective manufacturers had to design that sort of capability into the planes.
