Hey Everyone!

Today my office booked me on 1 MX, 2 AA, and 1 BA flights. With the whole debate on upgrades vs. full fares, I was wondering if someone could explain what each fare means, how likely upgrades are, etc.

These are the flights and fares booked:

BA Y11

All expanations are most welcome!

Quoting LX23 (Thread starter):
BA Y11

M class with MX is an economy class 3rd tier. Therefore you have Y, B and M as the regular economy fares and S, H, K, Q, V, W, L, E as economy discounted. Free upgrades with MX only available for Frecuenta Elite and Infinite customers.
Q class with AA is Economy discounted 6th tier. For upgrades you will need to be an AAdvantage Elite member and depending if it is a domestic, international or intercontinental flight have enough e-upgrades for the length of your flight or a VIPOW (Exec Platinum are exempt from domestic some international e-upgrades).
Y class with BA is a full economy.
