The ATC tower is 91 meters tall. From the picturs you can see the overview of the teminal, airport trains station, surroundings etc.

Terminal 2 will be ready in a few yeas with adittional a/c parking spaces and possibly a viewpointinside the terminal for aircraft enthusiasts....  Smile

The problem with such a tall tower is that OSL suffers from fog in the valley where the airport is built. A few years ago I was on the flight deck of a Braathens B734 descending into OSL. (Full flight, on standby, pre 9/11) Brilliant sunshine and good view of the top 20 metres of the tower. The rest of the airport was invisible in the fog.

Those 737s look like toys! That's amazing. Wish more people could provide shots from other control towers around the world..

Beautiful. Reminds me of when I flew out of there to ZRH in 2005.

Tks for sharing.

I wonder why isn't there any live web cams in the ATC of the major airports around the world. It would be great!

The Oslo area has been more or less covered with snow for the 4 weeks or so. Even down town Oslo we have almost a feet and more as you get out on the country side or up in the hills nearby
