Today, AF and KL announced a new route, to start on March, 29: AMS-BSL.
The route will be operated twice daily by CityJet, using an Avro RJ85.
On the route, AF-KL will compete with easyJet, who flies the route on a daily basis. I remember that until recently, LX operated the route as well, since when have they stopped the route?
Air France already serve CDG and LYS from BSL. In the past, KLM Cityhopper has flown to BSL using F50 equipment.

Quoting RJ100 (Reply 1): You are correct, both easyJet and Swiss fly on the same route.
The LX Avro RJ100s with their spacious 5-abreast seating are much better than the cramped 6-abreast CityJet RJ85s which have almost the same number of seats as the LX RJ100s (95 vs 97).

True, although most pax probably dont mind for a one hour flight. From BSL passengers can do same day returns on AF- a clever move by AF since they will receive a good amount of biz pax.
