Got this in an email from the folks at KRFD-Rockford, IL.

Win your choice of four (4) Round-Trip Tickets* to one of RFD's two new destinations, OR two (2) Round-Trip Tickets* to Cancun. Just guess what RFD's next two new destinations are going to be in order and you could win. Entries will be accepted up to the evening before the announcement of the next two new destinations. Winners will be revealed at the press conference. Increase your odds by telling your friends to enter and splitting the winnings.

I doubt they would go to RFD. Spirit has started daily flights from O'Hare to Myrtle Beach.
If Direct Air wants to fly to somewhere in the region I would bet that BMI, PIA, or MLI would be better for them.

I didn't know that. My bad.
If Direct Air was expanding wouldn't they be starting service from their new "hub" to several other places at the same time so it wouldn't be that big of a secret right? It seems hard to say whether the new destinations would be largely business or leisure. On one hand, the economy is bad and people are cutting back, but on the other hand, I would imagine that most business traffic from the area uses ORD or MDW.
