When Delta's L-1011's have all finally retired, what will their pilots do? I mean, which aircraft will they fly next?

I think they would probably fly the 767 or 777. That would be my guess. Maybe someone else here knows for sure?

They will fly what ever aircraft they bid that their seniority allows them to hold.

Deltas still flying those things? My...I thought they retired those already. I didnt see a single one at MCO (where they normally fly them...the only tri-star i saw there was the md-11) or ATL. How many do they still have going and to where?

The MD-11 is not a Tristar. It is a trijet.

It all depends on their seniority. I'm guessing the 767/777 type, but it varies.

Tekelbery,
Last I heard, they have eight left. Probably fewer now because I heard that a while ago.

Quite a few crews are retiring with the type at Delta. So I was told by a TriStar FO.

Tekel they still have 8 remaining 4 -1's, and 4-250's. The following are remaining: 1) N733DS , 2)N735D, 3)N737D, 4)N740DA, 5)N741DA, 6)N730DA, 7)N1738D, and 8)N728DA. By the way the order they are in is the order they will leave DL with N728DA being the Last on 8-1-01.
