Do you think that after the merger NW/DL Compass, Pinnacle and Mesaba will resort to the same performances as ASA and Comair...in particular the poor on time performance and consistent customer service issues? Is DL going to keep these entities independent of their other regional operations?
Actually ASA's performance has really improved, while not up to the top of the range but it really has improved. I also might add that ASA has had some of the smallest number of complaints filed with the DOT of any airline over the last year.
The other problem is the areas that ASA and COMAIR are flying, it's not an excuse, the system needs an overhaul in my opinion but both I think do well for what they have to deal with.

Huh? The employees aren't changing and our region of service will not dramatically change, so why should the reputation? Mesaba, Pinnacle and Compass have some of the best performance reputations in the industry and that's based on fact, not opinion.
