Alexander Graham Bell might be known for the telephone but in Baddeck, Nova Scotia it’s for the Aerial Experiment Association and the first flight by the Silver Dart, 100 years ago today. Piloted by J.A.D. McCurdy.

Freezing rain, rain and high winds today will probably prevent the official reenactment by the replica Silver Dart, but it made several flights yesterday.
