On the 23rd of Febuary 1909, J.A.D McCurdy flew the Silver Dart from the frozen bay at Baddeck, Nova Scotia.


Here today we honor him, and all who have come after him, flying in the skies of Canada.

Designed by Alexander Graham Bell, and the first aircraft with wheels. 100 years of wheels on planes!

What is it? It's A 747-400, but that's not important right now.
