I flew out of FLL today, as we were taxiing out to the runway, I saw a US 757 Etops on pushback. I'm looking to go on a US domestic plane that still has IFE. Do they turn the TV's on during the flight for safety video and trivia. I know the ETOPS ones have TV's. Is US operating PHL-CLT on a 767 at the moment?
Also, the A333 still has IFE in both classes since it's built in.
PHL-SJU-PHL daily US1071/US1024 if you want the A333. (Remember however, safety demos on the A333 are always manual- no drop down TV's)
You were asking about the 757 ETOPS. They fly PHL/CLT-SXM, PHL/CLT-AUA (and on the return from AUA-CLT on US1586 it continues on to PHL arriving just before midnight). I've flown that a few weeks ago. Those seats are so comfy in the Envoy cabin.
Keep in mind schedules changes do take place, and some of them are not daily, but rather on the weekends where more capacity is necessary over the A319/A320.
When it comes to the 767/757 East including ETOPS East (non-Hawaii), they don't offer IFE aside from safety demo on non transatlantic legs, because the IFE is not built-in into the seat like it is on the A333.
So to simplify, your best bet for non transatlantic flight on US which will offer IFE is:
-US1071/1024 ONLY to SJU from PHL
Anymore questions, ask away. I'll be glad to help you.

Quoting Cubsrule (Reply 4): 1071 and 1024 are 762s some days and 333s others.
Absolutely right, that flight does get quite a few equipment changes.
It's always scheduled as an A333, but sometimes gets downgraded to the 767 or the 757. I do see the next few Tuesday it's scheduled as a 767, but US1071/US1024 will be always scheduled as an A333 until Summer 2009, when all 9 A333s will be used transatlantic every evening with no spares left behind.

The Tuesdays are what I was referring to; I wasn't sure when/if it went back to A333 every day.
We may see some domestic 332 flying when they're first delivered for familiarization purposes too.
