According to the news the 737 aborted take off due to hydraulic problems. It looks like it¨s Smartwing operating BRQ - VKO .

Plane overshot the runway by about 10 meters. They¨re using metal plates to tow it back.

Thinking of it, the only scheduled international flights are daily STN on FR and this Moscow flight a few times a week. What supports this flight? Brno is not big, haven¨t met any Russians at all here, is it only tourism?

After looking at the video, it's not a Smartwing aircraft, but rather 737-300 VP-BBL of Atlant-Soyuz that had the excursion. Nice video of the workers getting the nosewheel unstuck.

Hmm, thanks. I was already unsure about the livery... But it¨s not a scheduled service is it? And it still doesnt answer the question what the Russians do in Brno, or v.v.

Brno gets some tourists as it is farther south in CZ, and closer to Austria, however Brno is a big college area as well. Nice looking people there too!  Smile
