Here's another pure fantasy question:
What airline livery would look good on aircraft NOT in the airline's fleet?
To start the discussion, I think 757s would look cool with Air Canada's colors.

There are some pics that have been digitally edited, and it doesnt look bad at all, some people thought some were really before they knew Michael F. Laughlin edited them.

I'm sorry, I meant a Midway A330, not an A320. Also, the digitally enhanced aircraft in that gallery are awesome! I especially like the Midway A330 :-)

A US Airways 747-400 would be gorgeous.
I don't think AA needs to change their livery but I do think their older planes need to be polished back to that bright silver.

I've always wondered how the early Western jetliners would look painted in Aeroflot's older colour schemes. Ex: Boeing 707, DC8, DH Comet. Also, it would be interesting to see some of the reversal - Russian jetliners in Western colour schemes. Ex: UAL and PanAm Ilyushin IL96-300, American Airlines Ilyushin IL86 (just imagine IL86 LuxuryLiner!), Delta Ilyushin IL62M, Western Airlines and PSA Tupolev TU-154, Midwest Express Tupolev TU-134, Skywest Antonov AN-24...
An interesting twist: Aeroflot currently has an order for 17 Ilyushin IL96M aircraft, powered by four PW2337 engines and equipped with Collins avionics. The aircraft themselves are the security for the loans from the U.S. government to build them. If they are repossessed...where will they go? Any U.S. airlines looking for some decent, inexpensive, four-jet, long-range aircraft? Food for thought. :-)
