Use the "Search" function and find out! We'd discussed Pan Am III in here only about a million times over the last year or two. Also, search for "Pan Am" on the photo database...you'll find all of the information you'll need in either of those two places. Also, as Reichy said, the website at http://www.flypanam.com is a good place to look.
Needless to say, this is not the real Pan Am--only a small outfit using the Pan Am name and concept. The real Pan Am is long gone, and it's very unlikely that the name will ever again be associated with anything as great as it once was.

And where do they fly??? I looked at their route map and it looks like someone threw some darts and said damnit thats where we will fly! The only beneficial destination I see is Puerto Rico and Im sure the route to Worchester will do very well if all the Ricans in central MA, until you look at the fare $400 + for that I would just fly a major airline and rack up some ff miles. The booking system also looks like something from the early days of internet services. I have seen virtual airline web sites that look about a million times better then this.
I think they want to fail!!
Has anybody flown with them? I hope the service is at least descent...

It is not just the routes they fly, but also the times they fly. For example, they have 16 non stop scheduled flights from Orlando Stanford. However, only 4 of them are daily. 7 of them do not operate on tuesdays not to mention Saturdays. It is like this through out their entire "system". Gee, that will really attract the business travelers. If I were them and actually wanted to try to stay in business, I would focus on St. Louis Mid-America airport (or maybe Chicago-Gary) and try a hub and spoke system from there. But with those old 727s and Jetstream 31s I think that is near impossible to be profitable.

Wouldnt it be wonderful if they honestly and truly started a good setup again, and made a go of it? I missed the PanAm days, and i was 10 when the Clipper Maid of the Seas went down over Lockerbie. Every where i look i seem to see these posts saying how great they were. With TWA gone, its seems a nice romantic notion to think that PanAm 3 has a future. Who knows? Maybe we will se them cross the atlantic again. Ive got every single PanAm 1-400 scake model there is, and i think that in Pan Am there was an airline which was more than the sum of its parts. I hope they order some nice new 737's. Come to think of it, wouldnt a PanAm CRJ or Embraer RJ look great in the billboard titles? A replacemnt for the J31's....I would LOVE model of one of them.....

i'm with shrtaprch. in the land of the survival of the fittest, you need to have a niche. in biology that keeps you alive, and in industry it does the same thing. doing exactly what everyone else is doing is a sure way to go under fast. pa is finding a distinct way of doing business that may keep the big guys from competing head on. they have a known name which in their under served airports may well help to foster flyer loyalty to the brand. the j31s may do the same thing. believe it or not in some places it is a big deal to have a real airline flying into the airport, and if it is a name that is recognized that's even better. by the way i have flown pa and am doing so again soon. why? just like they say, it is really easy using them along with the ez airports they are linked to.
