I flew Carnival from JFK Terminal 6 to FLL (I think it was FLL; perhaps it was MIA) on July 18, 1996. For those of you who don't recognize the date, it was the day after TWA 800 crashed. I remember a very somber atmosphere in Terminal 6 that morning. Anyhow, if anyone has old Carnival timetables, I would be curious to see the scheduled flight information from that day. Thank you in advance.

I have a Port Authority flight guide from May 1996:
Around the same time I remember picking up my Mom and Brother at JFK T6 where they had come in from West Palm Beach on Carnival, around that time Carnival was the only airline flying nonstop JFK-PBI which I thought was strange since TWA was flying LGA-PBI but not JFK-PBI. They flew from JFK because they got a great fare on Carnival to West Palm Beach, I remember it was just before the TWA flt 800 tragedy and TWA was in full swing of their JFK "rehubbing" operation. They were adding new flights like crazy, driving in from Central Jersey I got to JFK early and drove around checking things out. The TWA hangar ramp was packed with L1011s and 767s, it's sad to drive by that hangar today and see it empty.
One thing that sticks out in my mind clearly was what a mad house the T6 baggage claim was, there were other Carnival flights as well as TWA flights from San Juan etc arriving all at once and the place was really not designed to handle that many people. It was nuts.
Btw.. How old were you RJ in the Summer of '96, I was a 21 year old College student. 1996 seems like a long time ago.
