Hainan Airlines has requested 2 new routes to the CAAC to Germany and the USA.

4 weekly Tianjin - Seoul - Honolulu with A340-600 or B767-300
1 Daily Beijing - Dusseldorf with A330

News coutesy of airlineroute.blogspot.com/  Smile

The airline is also launching 3-times weekly PEK-SVO-PEK operations this month.

Interesting to see the routing of Tianjin - Seoul - Honolulu.

Great news, hope this get approved! The tourism in Hawaii has been hurting. It's nice to see HU expanding as well . . . an A346 at HNL would be nice! Haven't they tried to get charter rights to HNL from Haikou?

I have a question. Who are HU's western mileage accrual and redemption partners?

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

Great news for Hawaii. Interesting side note, the Island of Hainan brands itself as China's Hawaii.

Grew up in the business and continued the family tradition.

Will HU have fifth freedom rights between ICN-HNL?

I'm not anti-social. I'm just not user friendly.

Thanks Rob! Big grin

Yes, indeed, it was! Nevertheless, the decision to send an A346 or an 763 is still way apart in capacity,...be it DUS or HNL :P
