How does one go about finding DOT numbers on number of passengers between X city and Y city? In particular, I am trying to find the approximate number of passengers who travel between Washington, DC and India on a daily basis. Any insights?

Good questions, I'm not sure how much data the DOT gets on international flights but the web site is www.bts.gov. You might look at something like the DB1B report which is 10% sampling of flights, I think only domestic but it may have international.
