Searched but could not locate anything, does anyone know when DL/NW will code share on all flights? Also, when will everything be shifted to one website?

I think, though I could be wrong because I haven't been paying much attention to this aspect, that the DL code is on all NW flights, but there's not an NW code on all DL flights. From what I've heard, the NW code won't be placed on all DL flights.

I assume that will be around the time when they have the whole operation over to Deltamatic. As I recall, they wanted that done by the end of the year.

The latest update at the recent investor conference was technology cutover would happen in early 2010.
I think there are still some international restrictions that prevent full codesharing at present. Not sure of the timeline but all of foreign government route transfers always take longer than approvals from the US government and that approval has already been obtained.

Makes sense. I thought being single-system by the end of 2009 was a little ambitious.

The conference call also indicated they still plan on having their SOC by the end of 2009. Is it possible for them to shift to the Delta code before their systems are integrated?
The one thing I'm still expecting to happen prior to SOC is that Delta will retire the Northwest brand name and market all the flights as Delta, even though the flights would still be filed as Northwest Airlines. Northwest flights and Delta flights each assigned a specific range of flight numbers, similar to how the US Airways/America West Merger worked. Not sure when this might start though.

I believe this is going to happen sooner then we think.

Customer wise both airlines become pretty much one on March 29 IIRC.

Sure. The codesharing has nothing to do with PARS and Deltamatic.

Uniforms for pilots, CSAs/QSAs/WCRs, and FAs change on Monday, March 30th. I believe that the World Traveler magazine and other NWA branded inflight items will disappear around then as well. New uniforms for employees not as visible to the passenger will be handled at a later date. Operationally, they will remain separate until probably the 4th quarter of this year.

It will be interesting to see how soon that happens. In terms of flight ops, DL and NWA have a fair amount of differences.

You're talking about SOC. We're talking about branding.
So far this is what will be happening overnight on March 31st/April 1st:
All pilots and cabin crew will change uniforms to DL.
Ship 1804 should be in SkyTeam colors.
CDG will receive the new joint-venture logos.
And it's RUMORED that all NW aircraft not repainted yet will receive DL stickers. (At least this will start on 4/1)
Also on April 1st:
Intra-FL service reinstated with two daily flights between TLH-MCO and FLL-TPA with Saab 340s.
ATL-HHH reinstated with Saab 340.

Yeah, I realize that now. I misread the exchange there at replies 4 and 5.

Huh. Haven't heard that one. Must be circulating on the DL side.

I tried to book on DL's website a NW IAH-MSP flight (I believe it was a Compass-operated flight, in an Embraer regional jet)... I could not find the flight loaded to DL's system at all! Any idea why this is?
