Dear friends, find here some latest news from Italy where I do live:
GOLDWING, after a sole month of life they stopped flying. A Bac 146 is still unpainted and they are looking for $$$.
AIR ONE, consolidated it's strenght with LH, added a 13th B73X to it's fleet and change completely the interiors of the planes added leather seats and uniform changes.
AIR DOLOMITI, take over the first CRJ from LaudaItalia and is very positively impressed of it. Considering even a CRJ7
GANDALF, signed an agreement with AF, and is due to receive another Do328J.
ALPI EAGLES, cancelled the interest on the ERj, now they are focused to a larger plane, a possibility is the A320 family, still flying F100.
FEDERICO II, looking to re-start flying from the Foggia Airport, will add the second Do328 Shortly
AIR VALEE, adding a second Do328J, very positive impressions on service and pubblic.
MED AIRLINES, went out of business, have to return it's 2 SAAB2000
MERIDIANA, I have no news
ALITALIA, still in very bad situation, you can't even immagine how costy are they. Happy with the ERJ, looking to refresh something, very old in deep.
EUROFLY, retireing the MD8X and putting into service the A320 family.
AIR SICILIA, very unhappy with the B732 deal is leasing one or two MD8X for the season.
NATIONAL JET ITALIA, happy and very well going, decided to insert itself on the Roma-Milano route, risky but very profitable if sucess.
I can't remember anything elese.
