Well, it's official, DL will be adding winged headrests in Y on the ex-TWA 752s. All of them should be done by June.
I was orignially quite surprised that DL initially chose not to go with them when they first installed the new Weber 5751 slimline seats. I am guessing they got some input from customers, and decided to add them to the seats.
Now I wish that DL will add them to the 73Gs, 738s, and domestic 763s, however, I find it unlikely as it isn't quite as important on domestic aircraft than on international aircraft. I remember that DL once had winged headrests on the 738s when they were first delivered, but they were removed around 2003. Now with the 764ERs going international, there will be no more domestic aircraft with winged headrests in Y.
