Hi,

Could someone please tell me the registration for the following American Airlines flights?

Sunday, March 15:
-Flight 25 BOS-LAX, 757
-Flight 145 BOS-LAX, 763

and

Friday, March 20:
-Flight 222 LAX-BOS, 763
-Flight 264 LAX BOS, 757. (And, for this flight, where does the inbound aircraft come from?)

Thanks!

Looks like it is flying a charter: AA9475 LAW-FAT. Left at 10:23 and planned to arrive FAT at 11:19. Then ferry flight AA9741 FAT-LAX.

N342AN

Hi there AAR90

No offence intended, but is that rego correct? It seems as if N342AN was flying DFW-LHR (AA78) and then LHR-BOS (AA155) on March 15, 2009?

None taken. In fact, after I posted my reply I saw yours and wondered: was I correct? A second check indicates, yes, the registration info is correct. If you are searching a third-party program or site, you could easily have the wrong info... it happens often. Mine is direct from AA's FOS (Flight Operations System).

Here is the NS (crew list) header. Note: N342 is the "fleet number" for the aircraft.
145/15 D0 N342 FROM 155/15 IN 2037/15 AS OF 20MAR09/2349
DEP BOS 1645/15 OUT 2248/15 B31
ARV LAX 2015/15 IN 0216/16 41

The JD (Aircraft Data) file shows the registration (certificate) number:
JDU342 -AA * * * AIRCRAFT DATA RECORD * * *
TYPE A/C - 763P CONFIG - 1 CERT NBR - N342AN SELCAL- AHKQ

The RGA (aircraft routing) file shows the plane's flight history (for the relevant days):
RGA 342
N342 763P MEL YESTERDAY ROUTING
FLT --FROM-- --TO-- MTC -OFF/ON-- TIME
49/14 CDG 1133 DFW 1603 342 1133 1603 10.30
78/14 DFW 2352 LHR 1312 342OW* 2352 1312 8.20
155/15 LHR 1712 BOS 2029 342 1712 2029 7.17

1154/17 LAX 0943 ORD 1512 342XX 0943 1512 3.29

Here is acft 385's (N385AM) routing for the dates around the 15th:
RGA 385
N385 7673 MEL YESTERDAY ROUTING
FLT --FROM-- --TO-- MTC -OFF/ON-- TIME
109/14 LHR 1045 BOS 1350 385 1045 1350 7.05
145/14 BOS 1658 LAX 1944 385XX 1658 1944 5.46
252/15 LAX 1417 MIA 2131 385 1417 2131 4.14
905/15 MIA 0012 GIG 0926 385XX 0012 0926 8.14
904/16 GIG 2038 MIA 0358 385XX 2038 0358 8.20

On Mar.15, acft 385 flew AA252 LAX-MIA and then AA905 MIA-GIG (arriving the morning of 16th).
