I saw an unmarked A300 parked at St Pete Clearwater Airport yesterday. It was silverish gray in color with some dark blue on the back side of the tail. It was parked near the US Coast Guard section near where US Coast Guard parks the HC-130s. Anyone know who that A300 belongs to?

It wasn't parked by UPS.

Its not UPS. Its parked on the Avantair ramp.

This is the plane: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Airbus-A300F4-622R/1493949/M/

It arrived via Anchorage a week or so ago and the Avantair crews I asked didnt know what it was there for.

As stated in the photo, that plane used to belong to Galaxy Airlines of Japan. That
airline has gone bust. Are there any painting facilities at PIE??? I would think its getting
prepped for its next owner.

The sun had set when I saw it at PIE and plus I was driving by on the highway so I wouldn't have been able to get a good picture. But the one in the photo definitely looks like it. At first I didn't think it was an A300, thought it was something bigger because it seemed to dwarf the Coast Guard C-130s parked nearby
