Republic Airways Stock Up 40%

What is going on with Republic? Any news out there besides taking 50% ownership in Mokulele and starting the HNL-ITO route.

Wondering that myself. It closed at $6.12 and 2 analyists have it in a target of $22 to $25 per share. If you are in the mood for a good gamble, go for it. I think RJet is a sound company...but IMHO this stock market rally will come to a brutal end soon.

I'm glad to see Republic doing well. I hope they keep their headquarters in Indianapolis. Speaking of Indiapolis and Republic, thier headquarters were located on Purdue Rd on the city's northwest side (about 12 miles north of the airport and there is going to be major construction on the interstate on that side of town this summer). The other day I was driving through a fairly new office complex just south and west of the airport with Republic's logo and name on the front. It was a pretty good sized building with no other company logos. Did Republic move their headquarters closer to the airport? Plus I see that Republic is using about half of the former UA maintenance facility on the property of IND.

That building in the industrial park in Plainfield is our crew training center. The HQ is still on Purdue Rd. The crew training center has been open and in operation for about a year now.

Republic Holdings is in the drivers seat with the YX & MW deal. I'm not sure how the F9 DIP financing is doing, but Republic Holdings did receive equity in F9.

Hmmmm?

They are the sole provider of the second tranche of DIP ($40 million), and have a priority position in settlement of their claim against Frontier, but I'm not aware that they received any equity - yet.

I think it is slam dunk that they will be "involved" when Frontier emerges, but that will probably be new stock (in all or part settlement of the suit). Any present stock may be cancelled, without value.

Unless you've heard something that I have missed?

- I remember when Chautauqua first moved out to Indy from either western New York or Pennsylvania they first set "up shop"(first flying J-31s and Metroliners and then they brought in or bought the S340s) in the six or seven story office building that was adjacent to the terminal. Then Wexford got involved and the rest is history (good in my opinion at the time). Then it was Republic, a fine name. I just hope with it's three airlines, the company stays in good shape and stays here in INDY. Best for luck to the company and most importantly the employees. keep up the good work.
