Having been sitting at LHR for over a year now the former BA 777-236ER G-YMMM is currently being cut in to three sections and will be moved from the airport later this week.

Yeah, we got a memo sent at work last week to say that the Accident Investigators have given the go ahead for it to be parted out and they have all the info from the aircraft as they need but the investigation is still ongoing.

Have gotten so used to seeing her, will miss her being there. She has been at LHR almost as long as I have, crashing in my first week down here (Nothing to do with me lol)

Will walk past Myrtle Ave tomorrow so will have a last final look.

Well, they have defiantly been working well.

Just taken a walk past her. She has no cockpit now, having been cut up neatly to door one, and her rear has gone up to door 4. again cut up nice and neatly.

Wow- I'm glad I got to see her in person last week, before the cutting began!
I was flying out of Heathrow with a buddy, and seeing the plane caused me to go into one of my dreaded crash stories....

Type Heathrow in the map view, move the little man onto the Great West Road, and you will be able to move the view to the airport and you can clearly see it. Back when they did this the speedmarque was still on her

Using streetview its looking north from the "Southern Perimiter Rd" across the approach end of 27L there is a tailless 777.
