Not sure if UA still had JTC3 powered DC8s by then,but they had -21 which were also designated as DC8 in the OAG.The DC8-50s were listed as D8Fs.A B7F was a 707-120B or 138B,707 was 707-120 or 138.720 was of course a 720,B2F was a 720B.A B3F was a 707-320B.Tere doesnt seem to be a separate code for a 707-320 or 420.

Dulles' original code was DIA. It was changed to IAD in the mid 60s, because the code was too similar to DCA, and too many bags were bein mis tagged by skycaps.

This route was without US service until 1966, when WA was awarded YVR-PDX/SFO/LAX. I don't think a Canadian airline started the route until CP Air added it in the early 1970s.
