No,
Druk air or whatever his name is, is misinformed. I've never been on the 737-800 but from what I understand they have pop down video monitors, are quiet, have nice interiors, etc..

Dear Dfleet7,
Thank you for enquiring about our new Boeing 737-800s. On board, you can look forward to our brand new technologically advanced simulated seat pitch, which gives passengers a feel for AAnother level of comfort without actually increasing the seat pitch on board. Also aboard, as an alternative to playing interactive "Watch a movie if you're lucky", you can also participate with yet another interactive game of "Fight For The Lav", which can involve *some* physical contact with your fellow passengers. Of course, for our elderly and young passengers, they can enjoy Delta "Snack" Mix, and "Coca-Cola". With our wide variety of entertainment, and generous portions*, we're sure you'll have a great flight.
Again, thank you for contacting Delta about your travel needs, and please be assured that we at Delta have your comfort and well being as our primary objective. However, please note that if you are seated in coach, the level of service and comfort may not apply to you.
Sincerely,
Your Friendly Uncle Leo
